Curiously Aware - You or someone in management read an article about the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and decided to achieve level three in record time.

Description - This unfortunately is one of the more common ways an organization is introduced to process improvement. They are mandated to become more efficient through the adoption of best practices and the achievement of various levels of CMM certification. 

This is by far the least desirable way to introduce process improvement. It is like a fad diet that ultimately results in gaining more weight.
